Fruit candy — really royal treat. In the Soviet Union rumors went that the Belevsky fruit candy, despite the Iron Curtain, got on a table of the queen of England. Now any hostess can please herself and the relatives, having prepared a house fruit candy.
Ingredients:
- Apples fresh - 2 kg (it is possible to replace with apple puree - 1.2 kg);
- 2 eggs chicken (only proteins will be necessary);
- Granulated sugar - 500 g.
Preparation:
- To lay out the apples which are washed up, but not smoothed out from a peel on parchment paper and to bake in an oven at a temperature of 200 degrees for 25 minutes. Fruit has to become soft and gentle. Antonovka is at all baked about 10 minutes because of the consistence.
- Now, after roasting, apples need to be smoothed out from a peel and to grind through a sieve before formation of air gruel.
- Mix apple puree with granulated sugar and to shake up plentifully, air mass of lighter shade, something reminding custard is as a result formed. Mix has to increase in volume almost twice, and even it is more.
- Postpone a quarter of the shaken-up puree in the fridge, it is required for a layer of future dessert.
- Lay out preparation on the leaf which is in advance laid by parchment paper, send to an oven with the slightly opened door.
- As the fruit candy long enough dries, in an oven it is baked a thin layer (no more than 2 cm in height) by about 7 hours at a temperature of 50 degrees.
- Cut ready sheets on equal slices, then to interlay them with crude apple weight, cake has to turn out.
- Again to leave in an oven, only this time for 4 hours at a temperature of 60, with also slightly opened door.
The apple fruit candy is ready, it is possible to store it about 6 months.
