2. Also fruits of such grades as Gloucester, the Rennet, Melba, Simirenko will be suitable for preparation of apple jam.

3. Apples have to be strong and not overripe. It is better to choose fruits with sourness that apple jam didn't turn out too sweet and luscious.

4. The chosen apples need to be washed up, and then to clean and remove cores. Then they should be cut on small segments.

5. To put pieces of apples in a pan and to pour a little water. Water has to cover fruit only slightly.

6. Bring apples to the boil and at once to lower fire. It is necessary to potomit them minutes 10 that became soft.

7. After cooking, water needs to be drained, and to turn apples into puree. It can be done by means of the blender or to grind them through a small sieve.
