Absinthe – strong alcoholic drink which can present a set of pleasant feelings if it is correct to drink it. Absinthe can lighten the mood, change color perception. Along with it drink can cause a depression and throw you in abysses of a despair. On a wave of popularity of absinthe in supermarkets the set of drinks of various fortress and shades of green color appeared. And it is necessary to be able to choose the correct drink from this variety.

1. Having picked up an absinthe bottle in shop, at once pay attention to its fortress. The real absinthe has to have a strength from 70 and above. Often on sale it is possible to see green color drinks with a strength of 55%. They prepare, as well as the real absinthe, from a wormwood, but at the same time don't contain essential oils. Besides, similar fakes are artificially sweetened and to taste bear a faint resemblance to absinthe only.
2. The real absinthe has to have emerald-green color. Also beverage has to be clear, without dregs and a suspension of leaves which can be present at some stages of its preparation. Meet red and black absinthe, and such colors are quite admissible, however you remember that unfair manufacturers can specially tint alcohol to hide its poor quality.
3. Look at the name of drink. It will vary depending on the country manufacturer. So, if you want to buy the French drink, look for on shelves of Absinthe supermarkets, Czech - "Absinth", absinthe is written in Spain and Italy as "Absenta". All other drinks with similar names will be only the remote similarity of the real absinthe. For example, "Absente" – wormwood liqueur which many on ignorance take for the real absinthe is manufactured in France.
4. Surely pay attention to the maintenance of a tuyon in drink. If you want to taste the correct absinthe, then this substance by all means has to be present there. Its quantity is usually measured in mg/kg (milligram on kilogram) or in ppm (parts per million). If on the label the exact quantity isn't specified, so the maintenance of a tuyon in absinthe meets standards of the European Union, that is, makes 10 mg/kg. The producer isn't obliged to specify concrete figure in such cases.
