Plum jam with walnuts, this delicacy to tea. Jam turns out tasty and fragrant, and nuts impact it a pungent flavor.

For this jam it is recommended to use berry of such grades as the Hungarian and a reine claude, they have a dense and juicy pulp which well keeps a form in a tinned look.  

It is required to you 

  • 2 kilograms of selected plum, 
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 
  • 150 grams of walnuts, 
  • 600 grams of granulated sugar, 
  • 1 liter of the filtered water. 

Carefully to wash out plum fruits, to slightly dry, divide everyone on a groove and to remove stones. Shell nuts and to chop up small a sharp knife. 

Omit discharges in the enameled capacity, fill up with granulated sugar and mix. Add water and cook on small fire before emergence of bubbles. Then to put a ground cinnamon, to implicate it in mix from plums and to boil thoroughly 40-45 more minutes, sometimes scumming. 

After cooking we remove capacity from a plate, we cool jam a little. Put the crushed walnuts in ready jam, and properly mix. 

Sterilize jars 10 minutes in previously warmed oven to 200 degrees. Then pour warm jam on jars, densely close covers. Best of all you store jam in the dry, cool, dark place.
