It is required to you

  • - 1 kg of tangerines,
  • - 4 glasses of water,
  • - 1 kg of sugar.

Instruction

1. Small tangerines are suitable for jam making according to this recipe. They are better boiled and not strongly boil soft. We wash tangerines with a sponge with a firm surface (it is possible to use a soft brush) in a large amount of water.

2. We dry the washed-out tangerines paper towels, then we cut in half. We shift tangerines in a big pan and we fill in with hot water, we leave for 10-15 minutes. This stage softens a dried peel and deletes bitterness.

3. In half an hour we fill in tangerines with cold water and we leave for the night at the room temperature.

4. To be necessary for us for cooking the sugar syrup. He prepares very simply. We pour in a bucket or a small pan of 250 ml of water, after boiling we add 500 grams of sugar to water and we boil 10 minutes.

5. From the settled tangerines we drain water. We fill in with a sugar syrup (hot) and we put a baking plate bends for 3.5 hours.

6. In 3.5 hours we dissolve 500 grams of sugar in the remained water volume. We fill in with sugar water tangerines in syrup, we put on small fire. After boiling we remove a skin, we stir slowly. We cook at small boiling of 20 minutes.

7. We remove a pan with jam from fire and we leave for three hours. Then again we put on small fire, we bring to the boil and we cook 15 more minutes. We remove from fire and we allow to stand a couple of hours, then again we boil 15 minutes. In five minutes prior to the end of cooking we add to jam juice of one lemon, but it at will. Jam is ready, it is possible to taste and close on jars.
