Tomatoes jam – unusual delicacy. It is often cooked not only sweet, but also spicy and given not only as a dessert, but also as sauce to a bird, meat, fish. Such jam – a fine component of a cheese plate.
Simple tomatoes jam
For the simplest tomatoes jam take: - 1 kilogram of fleshy tomatoes;
- 1 ½ glass of cane sugar; - 3 ½ tablespoons of lemon juice;
- 1 stick of cinnamon. Wash up and dry tomatoes, cut on quarters and put in the food processor together with sugar. Pour in lemon juice and a pyuriruyta in uniform weight. Shift in a wide pan, add a stick of cinnamon and bring to the boil. Stirring slowly, you cook about 10 minutes, then reduce heating to an average and you cook until jam becomes dense and glossy. Tomato jam on honey
If you try to refuse sugar, make jam on honey. It is required to you: - 1 kilogram of tomatoes; - 1 ¼ glass of liquid honey; - 2 tablespoons of lemon juice; - ¼ teaspoons of ground cinnamon. Cut tomatoes in cubes and lay out in a pan, add honey and lemon juice, strew with cinnamon. Bring to the boil on average fire, without forgetting to stir slowly. Reduce heating to minimum and you cook 1 - 1 ½ hours until jam thickens. Check its consistence, having dripped on a cold porcelain saucer. If jam is ready, the drop has to hold a form. Tomatoes jam, lemon and rosemary
For this fragrant jam take: - 1 kilogram of tomatoes; - 1 glass of sugar; - 1 lemon; - 2 teaspoons of rosemary leaves; - 1 stick of cinnamon. Remove a dried peel from a lemon and squeeze out juice. Cut tomatoes. In the food processor crush tomatoes with sugar and rosemary. Shift in a wide saucepan, add lemon juice and a dried peel, put a cinnamon stick. You cook, stirring slowly, 10 minutes on strong fire, then reduce heating to an average and you cook 15-20 more minutes until ready. Remove cinnamon and spread out on banks.
Spicy tomatoes jam
Make dense and spicy tomato jam. It will be required to you: - 3 kilograms of tomatoes; - 2 large apples; - 1 glass of sugar; - 2 teaspoons of the crushed garlic; - 1 stick of cinnamon; - ¼ teaspoons of caraway seeds; - 1 tablespoon of lemon juice; - 1 ½ tablespoons of balsam vinegar. Cut tomatoes a large cube and lay out in a pan. Cut apples, remove a core and chop slices, add to tomatoes. Pour sugar, put cinnamon, garlic, ginger, pour caraway seeds. Bring to the boil, reduce heating and you cook, so far apples not to be softened, without forgetting to stir slowly. When jam thickens and will become homogeneous, remove from fire and pour in vinegar. Get cinnamon and pour on banks.
