Today it is possible to find a good selection of a yeast powder of fast action in shops. They are convenient in case you want to bake quickly something from yeast dough. But some gourmets prefer to cook yeast independently.

- bottled beer.
1. Decide for what you need yeast. For example, for preparation of beer and fancy pastry various cultures are used, and rules of their cultivation differ from each other.
2. For receiving grain yeast take berries in which they contain, for example, grapes or plums. Pound them in puree and add to them water and sugar in the ratio 3:1:1. Leave the turned-out mix in the warm place for a week. After froth skimming you will be able to dry up the turned-out mix and to use in bread baking. Instead of berries you can also take bread, but in this case at you it won't turn out to remove wild barmy cultures.
3. For cultivation of a beer yeast find suitable initial material. The beer intended for ripening in a bottle can become it. Most often it meets at the German, English or Belgian producers. Naturally, beer shouldn't be pasteurized.
4. Add to a small amount of the chosen drink a mash for stimulation of growth of suitable type of yeast. It is cooked from the processed malt (germinated barley) welded with addition of water and subsequently filtered. Mashes at the first stage only several milliliters are required. Put a bottle to the warm place and wait until fermentation process begins. After that it will be possible to add still a mash. As a result of cultivation, yeast has to increase in volume at least ten times. After that it is possible to use the turned-out culture for preparation of beer.
