How to make berries jelly

Yagodnoe jelly is an original and useful dessert. Correctly prepared, it keeps taste and aroma of fresh berries. It can be used as an independent dish and also for decoration of cakes and cakes.

It is required to you

  • gelatin – 1 tablespoon;
    • berries – 500 g;
    • sugar – 100 g;
    • water – 3 St;
    • molds for jelly.

Instruction

1. Choose berries for preparation of jelly. The most tasty jellies turn out from blackberry, strawberry, various grades of currant, a cranberry. If you decide to make red currant jelly, contains pectin, a vegetable gelling agent. Touch berries and carefully wash up. Let's flow down to surplus of water, having placed them in a colander.

2. Wet gelatin in a glass of cold water for 1-2 hours. Dissolve it on a water bath at constant stirring, without bringing to the boil.

3. Lay a part of the prepared berries for decoration of ready jelly. Crush berries in a mortar or wipe them through a sieve. Let the emitted juice stand. Pour out it in separate ware. Fill in berry puree with two glasses of water and put on fire. Bring to the boil, add sugar. You boil to full sugar remelting. Remove from fire and let's berry broth cool down a little.

4. Filter broth through a linen napkin. Connect it to a berry juice. At constant stirring pour in slightly cooled down gelatine water in this mix.

5. Pour over the washed-up molds for jelly cold water from within. Lay out on a bottom of berry and fill in them with the prepared broth mix with gelatin. Deliver to jelly in the fridge for faster solidification.

6. Before giving on a table of a mold from jelly lower for several seconds in hot water. Lay out contents on a dessert plate. Decorate with leaflets of fresh mint.
