How to make chicken in sweet-sour sauce

Chicken in sweet-sour sauce can be met often at restaurants of Asian cuisine. This dish, popular in the countries of Asia, very tasty, light and at the same time nourishing. Besides, the dish is quite simple in preparation, despite the exoticism. It doesn't demand unusual and expensive products. Even the inexperienced culinary specialist can prepare it. The main thing is to study attentively the recipe and not to recede from it in the course of cooking.

  • chicken fillet - 300 g
    • vegetable oil - 50 g
    • carrots average - 2 pieces
    • paprika - 2 pieces
    • onions - 1 head
    • garlic - 3 cloves
    • starch - 1 tablespoon
    • soy-bean sauce - 4-5 tablespoons
    • vinegar apple or wine - 1 tablespoon
    • honey - 2 tablespoons
    • tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
    • chili powder - 1/2 teaspoons

Instruction

1. Cut some chicken fillet small pieces of the size of walnut and lay out in a soup plate. If you the fan of sharp – rub pieces of chicken with a small amount of chili powder. Fill in 2/3 soy-bean sauces, mix and leave to be pickled for 8-10 minutes.

2. Cut in small cubes the paprika scraped seeds. Use pepper of different flowers, for example green and red. The dish will turn out more beautiful. Cut carrots thin plates, and onions – half rings. On a separate board small crush garlic.

3. Make sauce – carefully mix vinegar, honey, tomato paste and the remained soy-bean sauce. If honey strongly dense - it is possible to warm it slightly. Sauce has to remind liquid sour cream on consistence. If you want that the dish was sourer – add slightly more vinegar. If you prefer sweetish taste, increase amount of honey by one-two spoons.

4. Warm vegetable oil in a deep frying pan and lay out chicken. Fry on strong fire within 5-7 minutes, constantly stirring slowly. Then lay out in a frying pan in turn onions, carrots and pepper. After each added portion of vegetables carefully mix all weight. Fry vegetables together with chicken about 5-7 minutes. Watch that fire always was maximum!

5. Pour out in advance made sauce in a frying pan, carefully mix. Mix has to gain pleasant brown-golden color.

6. Dissolve starch in 50 ml of cold water and fill in a kurinno-vegetable mix. Quickly and intensively mix and remove from fire. Pour out the crushed garlic. Cover a frying pan and let's potomitsya to a dish about 10 minutes.

7. Serve with simple white rice. The dish will gain classical completeness. But it is possible to experiment and use spaghetti or boiled potatoes as a garnish.
