How to make compote for the winter

Compote is very tasty, vitamin-rich soft drink. Prepared in house conditions, it doesn't contain dyes and preservatives. And that this useful drink was on your table all the year round, weld and roll up it in banks. For example, it is very good on taste and cherry compote is long stored.

It is required to you

  • 3-liter can;
    • 2 cups of ripe cherry;
    • 1 cups of sugar;
    • vanillin;
    • boiled water;
    • crusts of one lemon;
    • warm blanket.

Instruction

1. Well wash out berries under flowing water and touch from fruit stems, leaflets and other garbage. You watch that there were no rumpled or spoiled fruits.

2. Put cherry for some time aside and prepare syrup. Put on slow fire a pan with two liters of water. When water begins to heat up, add sugar and well stir.

3. Bring syrup to the boil. Then add a little vanillin and crusts of a lemon. Boil a minutes more 2-3 and remove a pan from a plate. Also if desired here it is possible to add some spice. For example, carnation or ginger.

4. In parallel with syrup prepare to bank in which compote will be stored. Carefully wash it hot water with detergent for ware. Then sterilize in the way, convenient for you, – in an oven or over steam. After that lay out cherry in a glass container. Fill in berries with the prepared syrup, previously having taken out from it lemon peels.

5. Syrup has to fill to bank to the brim that it came out all air. Roll up compote an iron cover. Wrap up with a blanket and put to the warm place for 2-3 days. You watch that covers weren't blown up.

6. Then compote can be lowered in a cellar or to put to the storeroom. In the winter, before giving on a table, berries from drink it is possible to lay out in a vase and a tax as a separate dish. Also it is possible to decorate with them a dessert.
