When the time of preparations begins, before many hostesses there is a question of what to do with last year's jam which often becomes candied from long-term storage. Of course, you shouldn't throw out it, besides various compotes, it is possible to make domestic wine from jam – a lung, fragrant, with pleasant smack of favourite fruit and berries.

It is required to you

  • - 1 l of berry or fruit jam;
  • - 3 liters of water;
  • - 110 g of raisin.

Instruction

1. Before beginning to cook domestic wine from old jam, it is necessary to prepare a container. Take a glass jar or the enameled pan and wash up it with use of baking soda then several times rinse a baking plate with a stream of flowing water. Drench clean ware with abrupt boiled water.

2. In a separate pan pour water and put it on fire. Shift home-made jam in in advance prepared container and add to it the washed-out raisin. When water begins to boil, remove it from a plate and leave to cool down to room temperature. Pour out the cooled-down water in a large bottle with jam and by means of a wooden spoon mix large bottle contents.

3. Close a large bottle a cover and remove to the dark place that contents of capacity began to wander. It is possible to leave a large bottle in kitchen in the summer, and to remove its baking plate the battery in the winter.

4. When the large bottle stays in the warm place of 10 days, open a cover and carefully remove alburnum from the surface of liquid. Shift alburnum in a gauze and filter it, having merged liquid in separate ware. The remained cake can be thrown out.

5. Also filter liquid which remained in bank through a gauze and connect to that that remained after filtering of alburnum. Pour the turned-out mash in carefully washed up to bank which neck put on a rubber glove.

6. Leave to bank with a mash for 40 days for fermentation. Wait when jam wine becomes transparent, and the inflated glove will fall down. Pour a young wine from jam on glass large bottles, trying not to touch the deposit which remained after refermentation. Close bottles traffic jams and remove to the dark cool place. Approximately in 2 months after a flood, domestic wine from jam will be ready-to-serve.
