How to make home-made mustard on a brine

It is rather simple to make mustard in house conditions, it is possible to buy mustard powder, to fill in it with boiled water to the required consistence and to allow to infuse certain time. But it is possible to add a variety to habitual taste of mustard, having added to some ingredients.

It is required to you

  • - one quarter of a glass of mustard powder;
  • - quarter of a glass of any light beer;
  • - a brine (will approach from any pickles) – a quarter of a glass;
  • - one teaspoon of a turmeric;
  • - one egg;
  • - one and a half teaspoon of salt;
  • - one teaspoon of starch;
  • - half of a teaspoon of juice of a lemon;
  • - sugar – a half of a teaspoon.

Instruction

1. Mix beer with a brine and fill in with the received mix mustard, very carefully add a turmeric and mix. Leave the received weight for the night in the fridge, previously having covered from above with food wrap.

2. In advance prepare a water bath: pour into a pan water, four centimeters high, and put on a plate. Add egg to mustard weight and mix. Pour salt, sugar, starch and again accurately mix.

3. Put ware with the turned-out mix on a water bath and cook to dense consistence around four - six minutes.
