Shawarma is amazing east dish which basis is fried meat. Of course, to buy it in simple stalls it is risky, but same doesn't mean that it doesn't need to be eaten absolutely? Right? I suggest you to make shawarma in house conditions with dzadzika sauce.

It is required to you

  • - a leaf lettuce - 2 pots;
  • - pita - 4 pieces;
  • - mutton fillet - 600 g;
  • - a red bulb - 1 piece;
  • - cherry tomatoes - 150 g;
  • - a salad cucumber - 1 piece;
  • - garlic - 1 clove;
  • - a natural yoghourt - 150 g;
  • - olive oil - 2 tablespoons;
  • - lemon juice - 2 teaspoons;
  • - salt;
  • - pepper.

Instruction

1. For a start it is necessary to make dzadzika sauce. Clean a cucumber and cut it on 2 half. At one of halves cut out seeds and cut the rest. Mix the following ingredients: the crushed garlic, the crushed cucumber, yogurt and juice of a lemon. Don't forget to season this mix with salt and pepper. Carefully mix everything and remove a bowl with sauce in the fridge.

2. Wash meat, dry up, then cut it in the form of thin slices. Pepper pieces of mutton, salt and fry on a grill on both sides until the brown crust, that is not less than 6-8 minutes is formed.

3. After fried meat cools down, it is necessary to cut it small pieces and not along fibers, namely across.

4. Cut vegetables so: onions - rings, tomatoes - exactly in half, and the remained half of a cucumber - slices.

5. Lettuce leaves don't need to be cut. It is rather simple to tear them hands on big pieces. Mix them with the cut vegetables and water with juice of a lemon and olive oil.

6. Lay all 4 pitas on a grill and fry them till golden color. Then in each of them do a peculiar pocket in which it is necessary to lay lettuce leaves, the cut vegetables and meat. Home-made shawarma with sauce of a dzadzika is ready!
