3. Instead of sugar it is possible to use honey, the ratio with fruit or berries at the same time will be the same. However, jam on honey is less popular for two reasons: honey is loved not by all, and still it is much more expensive. If neither that, nor another frightens you, you can safely experiment. There are also mixed recipes assuming both sugar, and honey.

4. We begin to cook jam from syrup preparation. Usually it becomes in superficial ware (basin or a wide pan). We fill the necessary amount of sugar, we pour water and we boil to full sugar remelting. Then we remove from fire, we add fruit or berries, again we put on fire, we bring to the boil on strong fire. We cook longer on slow again, skimming and slightly stirring up ware.

5. Make jam - means also in time to define its readiness. It shouldn't be neither undercooked, nor digested. Degree of readiness can be defined by a saucer: drip on it jam and if the drop doesn't blur, jam is ready. 6. At storage of jam it is necessary to avoid hot places, direct sunshine, however and it doesn't love frosts too. Average cool temperature will be just right.
