How to make orange ice cream with rum and spices

Ice cream – one of the most popular desserts of the world. There are thousands of options of preparation in house conditions of this delicious delicacy. Ice cream on the basis of orange juice not only will cast warm memories of summer, but also will surprise with the flavoring originality in combination with rum and spices.

It is required to you

  • 3 eggs
    • 100 g of sugar
    • 200 ml of cream
    • 1 orange
    • 50 g of orange liqueur
    • 100 g of icing sugar
    • 50 g of rum
    • spices (vanilla
    • cinnamon
    • saffron). For ornament: whipped cream
    • mint leaflets
    • chocolate crumb.

Instruction

1. Prepare capacity for preparations ice cream. It has to be the convenient capacious bowl.

2. Separate the yolks from the whites. For this purpose make in each egg two small openings – from above and from below. You hold each egg over a bowl or a mug until in it protein flows down. When protein flows down, beat off the top half of a shell and pour out a yolk in the main bowl.

3. Prepare a water bath. For this purpose put a bowl in a pan of the bigger size and partially fill this pan with water. Put on fire and wait when water begins to begin to boil.

4. Shake up yolks with sugar the mixer on a water bath until they don't gain pale creamy consistence.

5. Remove a water bath from fire and continue to shake up cream until it completely is cooled and will thicken.

6. In a separate bowl carefully shake up the mixer cream with icing sugar. Cream has to thicken too.

7. Squeeze out juice of orange. Filter it that in juice there is no large piece of pulp left. Mix cream from vitelluses with the squeezed-out juice and whipped cream.

8. Pour in liqueur in the received mix and once again carefully mix.

9. Densely close a bowl with the received mix a cover and put in the freezer. Freeze the received product to semi-hardness.

10. Mix rum and spices (vanilla, cinnamon and a saffron). Let's infuse mixes under the closed cover within half an hour.

11. Take out ice cream, gradually pour in it in mix of rum and spices, carefully shake up and remove in the freezer already before full hardening.

12. Ice cream is ready! Before giving on a table cut ice cream pieces or roll balls by means of a special round spoon. Accurately lay one or several pieces in glass ice-cream bowls. Decorate your ice cream from above with whipped cream, leaflets of mint and strew with a chocolate crumb.
