How to make potatoes by segments in an oven with a crisp

Make the baked potatoes by segments in an oven – very easily and quickly. Such dish serves as a fine alternative to French fries. Potato segments — soft tasty inside and crunchy ruddy outside will decorate your table.

It is required to you

  • - 1.1-1.4 kg of potatoes
  • - 1/4 teaspoons of salt
  • - fresh ground black pepper
  • - 1 teaspoons of dried rosemary or several branches of fresh rosemary
  • - 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • - 3 tablespoons of a grated cheese parmesan

Instruction

1. Peel potatoes and wash up. Cut each tuber on two half, then – on small segments.

2. Put potato segments in a pan and you cook them within 5 minutes. After cooking they have to remain firm.

3. Then dry up and put them on the baking tray covered with parchment paper.

4. Season with salt, a black pepper and rosemary. Sprinkle olive oil and mix a little, so that spices and oil were evenly distributed on potato segments.

5. Strew from above with parmesan and once again mix.

6. Bake at 200 OS until the lower part of potatoes is reddened till golden-brown color. Then reduce temperature in an oven for 5 minutes and then increase again for several minutes.

7. Let's cool down within several minutes and give as a garnish with sour cream and garlic or just as an independent dish.
