It is required to you

  • - pumpkin - 1 kg;
  • - sugar - 400-450 g;
  • - a lemon - 2 pieces;
  • - water - 1 l;
  • - vanilla sugar - 1 bag.


1. First of all it is necessary to wash out very carefully pumpkin under flowing water. After this procedure let's it dry completely. Then, having taken a knife, accurately rind with its surface. Also remove all sunflower seeds. Cut the remained pumpkin pulp on any pieces of the small size.

2. Scald a lemon abrupt boiled water. Then properly wash its baking plate with cold flowing water then dry up and crush, having cut thin segments of the identical size.

3. Having taken quite big pan, lay out in it the crushed pumpkin pulp and the cut lemon segments. Then there you vysypit granulated sugar. Fill in the received weight with water and put it on a plate. You cook future compote till that time until pumpkin on softens, that is for 15-20 minutes, not less.
