It is possible to keep fragrant and tasty berries of strawberry for the winter, using various recipes. Strawberry in own juice favourably differs in a small sugar content and excellent taste.

It is required to you

  • 1 kg is fresher than some strawberry;
  • 300 g of sugar;
  • 1/3 h l of citric acid;
  • 2 jars on 0.5 l.

Instruction

1. To place berries of strawberry in cool water for a couple of minutes. Small strong berries about one size will be suitable for this recipe.

2. To mix strawberry a little in water, and then to put in a colander. From the dried berries to destem, to put berries in a deep pan or a bowl.

3. Strawberry needs to be filled up with sugar and to shake capacity a little. It isn't necessary to mix not to damage some berry. It is the best of all to leave strawberry with sugar for the night, having covered ware with a gauze. During this time sugar has to be dissolved almost completely and syrup is formed.

4. It is necessary to spread out strawberry in the clean and sterilized banks in the morning, to fill in berries with syrup. From above in each jar to fill a little citric acid.

5. To put a fabric piece in a wide pan, to pour water. Put there jars with strawberries in syrup, cover them with sterile covers. Water has to cover banks approximately to a coat hanger.

6. Put a pan on a plate, wait for water boiling, and then sterilize preparations about 10 minutes on small fire. Then jars with strawberry in own juice need to be taken out from water and at once to roll up or twirl.

7. To turn banks with strawberry a bottom up, to cover with towels and to leave until they completely don't cool down.
