How to make ""Tarhun"

"Estragon" – lemonade, popular in Russia, with characteristic grass taste and green color. It can be prepared also in house conditions, using the recipe on the basis of natural ingredients.

It is required to you

  • - 40 g of Tarhun or tarragon;
  • - 2 lemons;
  • - lime;
  • - 300 g of sugar;
  • - 1.5 liters of sparkling water;
  • - mint.

Instruction

1. Take the necessary amount of fresh Tarhun and carefully wash out it in flowing water. As an alternative it is possible to use a tarragon: on gustatory senses drink will turn out the same. Crush greens a sharp knife. It is possible to pass it via the blender, having turned into green gruel, but in this case drink will lose a big share of curative juice. If all of you decide to crush a grass, surely wash capacity water and collect residues of liquid which will be necessary for you further.

2. Wash up and wipe dry a lime and two lemons then cut them across on two parts. By means of the juice extractor prepare a fruit juice from a citrus. Weld a sugar syrup having added to a pan with the water or liquid which remained after washing of the blender, 300 g of sugar. Cool syrup to room temperature and add to it fresh citrus juice.

3. Pour 1.5 liters of sparkling water in a two-liter plastic bottle, and place the crushed Tarhun in the remained space. Add syrup mix with juice. Screw up a cover as it is possible more densely and place a large bottle in the dark cool place for 2-3 hours. Filter lemonade through a gauze and a strainer then it can be given to a table. To give to drink pleasant tea color, add to it couple of drops of chicory or a refiner syrup. Don't stir it if you want to make highly carbonated.

4. Use an additional way of the preparation refreshing without use of the aerated liquid, and on the basis of simple drinking water decoction. Weld syrup, using 1.5 glasses of sugar and 1.5 liters of liquid. Drain the remained water in a pan and bring to the boil.

5. Cut off from a lime and two lemons of segment on 2 cm in the diameter. Crush 40 g, mix with the cut-off tips of a lime and a lemon, place everything in the hot, but not boiling water. Draw pan contents, having densely closed it a cover, in the warm place within 2-3 hours.

6. Cut thin beautiful segments the remains of a lime and lemons. Filter the cooled-down infusion through a sieve and a gauze and mix with a sugar syrup. Put in it citrus segments. Pour lemonade on glasses and give to a table. For strengthening of taste and aroma it is possible to add several leaflets of mint. The drink received by this method will turn out not aerated, however more useful and bright on taste. Chilled he is capable to satisfy well thirst and to please all family in hot summertime.
