How to make the tomatoes stuffed with rice

These tomatoes can serve as both a wonderful spring garnish, and an independent dish!

It is required to you

  • For 4 portions:
  • - 4 large, strong tomatoes;
  • - 90 g of long-grain rice;
  • - 1 tablespoons of olive oil;
  • - 1 bulb;
  • - 2 garlic gloves;
  • - 40 g of favourite nuts;
  • - 20 g of light raisin;
  • - parsley, a basil, pepper and salt to taste.

Instruction

1. Rice is boiled until ready according to the instruction. Nuts are small cut, we cut greens. We crumble onions a small cube.

2. We warm olive oil in a frying pan and we fry onions to transparency. We add chopped nuts and we hold on fire still a couple of minutes. We remove from a plate, we add the garlic grated on a small grater.

3. We warm an oven to 190 degrees. We do ""pots"" of tomatoes: we cut off top and we remove with a spoon liquid, and then we take out pulp. Slightly prisalivay also we overturn them on a paper towel in addition to remove moisture. For now we cut pulp and we mix it with boiled rice, onions and raisin. We fill tomatoes, we cover with a lid - top and we send to an oven for 20 - 25 minutes. It is possible to give both warm, and cooled down.
