Already in ancient times the people when cooking used special methods for giving to it of softness and saturated taste. Pickling was one of these ways. The very first marinade was made from sea salt, as gave the name to this method (Latin of marinus - sea). Today in the world there are hundreds of recipes of various marinades. One of the most relevant and at the same time traditional ways is pickling in wine.

It is required to you

  • Red wine vinegar-1/2 of a tablespoon
    • Red wine - 1 glass
    • Sugar - to taste
    • Onions - 1 head
    • Dry mustard - 1/4 teaspoons
    • Bay leaf - 2 pieces.
    • Carnation - 1/2 teaspoons
    • Rosemary - 1/2 teaspoons


1. We mix red wine vinegar with red wine and we add sugar.

2. Then we add 1/4 teaspoons of mustard to the received mix and we mix.

3. We clean onions and we cut averages on thickness rings.

4. We stack rings of onions in the prepared ware and we fill in with mix from red wine.

5. We add rosemary, a carnation and bay leaf. We bring everything to the boil.

6. We cool at the room temperature, and marinade is ready.
