How to prepare a low-calorie shish kebab from a turkey

In winter time so there is a wish for a shish kebab. It is possible to prepare it not only from meat, but from fish or a bird. Such shish kebab will be not only tasty, but also useful.

It is required to you

  • For 4 portions:
  • - fillet of a turkey – 850 g;
  • - a saffron – 2 teaspoons;
  • - a green backwash – 100 g;
  • - olive oil – 3 tablespoons;
  • - the Bulgarian multi-colored pepper – 4 pieces;
  • - red onions – 1 piece;
  • - juice of two lemons;
  • - salt and a black sprinkling pepper to taste.

Instruction

1. We wash fillet of a turkey thoroughly, we dry a paper towel and we cut pieces about 3 cm long. In a big bowl we connect a sprinkling pepper, a saffron, olive oil and juice of a lemon. Carefully we mix.

2. We put a turkey in marinade so that it covered meat completely. We cover a bowl or a film and we remove in a cold spot not less, than for 12 hours.

3. We wash pepper and red onions, we clean and we cut big pieces.

4. Bacon is cut by strips (or we use ready strips of a green backwash). We displace each strip in roll. We alternate a piece of a turkey, a rolled backwash, pepper, onions on a skewer. We fry over coals until ready, periodically overturning and watering with marinade. The turned-out low-calorie, useful and fantastically tasty brochette from a turkey is recommended to be served, having added with greens, vegetables and sweet-sour sauce.
