How to prepare a musaka with eggplants and forcemeat

Musaka - the Greek unusual and very tasty dish. Recipes differ, however the only ingredient remains invariable - forcemeat and sauce.

It is required to you

  • - 200 g of forcemeat;
  • - 3 eggplants;
  • - bulb;
  • - carrots;
  • - 160 g of cheese mozzarella;
  • - 40 g of a hard cheese;
  • - 5 fresh tomatoes;
  • - tomato paste;
  • - Provence herbs.

Instruction

1. Wash up eggplants and cut them strips lengthways.

2. Then lay out on a baking tray and slightly sprinkle vegetable oil.

3. Within 15 minutes bake them in an oven.

4. Fry forcemeat in a frying pan, having added oil.

5. In five minutes add to forcemeat swept the cut onions and carrots. It can be cut with strips or to rub.

6. Then throw the cut tomatoes and you extinguish five minutes.

7. Then put Provence herbs with tomato paste.

8. Then lay out eggplants in a deep form.

9. After them there is a forcemeat layer.

10. Then again eggplants.

11. After a layer of tomatoes.

12. Behind them a cheese layer mozzarella.

13. Afterwards layer eggplant.

14. Then strew with a layer of a grated cheese (on a small grater).

15. Put a form in the warmed oven. Within half an hour the dish will be ready. Take out a dish from an oven, cool and cut for the portion. Decorate with the cut greens.
