How to prepare a water-melon julep

The traditional julep represents the sweet syrup prepared on the basis of water and sugar. The main ingredient in a compounding is mint syrup and fresh mint.

It is required to you

  • - 300 g of pulp of watermelon
  • - 200 ml of crimson or grape syrup
  • - mint syrup
  • - several branches of mint
  • - 1 lemon

Instruction

1. By means of the blender crush pulp of watermelon, a branch of mint and several ice cubes. Put the prepared mix in the fridge for 20-30 minutes for cooling.

2. Add mint and crimson (grape) syrup to water-melon weight. Carefully mix all ingredients or shake up the mixer.

3. On a bottom of a glass or glass put several segments of a lemon and fill in with the prepared water-melon julep. Before giving on a table slightly strew mix with icing sugar.
