Orange jam not only very tasty, but also very fragrant. Such jam is rich with vitamin C therefore it is simply irreplaceable all the year round.
It is required to you
- 1 kilograms of oranges, 1.2 kilograms of granulated sugar, 2 glasses of water
Instruction
1. Wash up oranges, drench them with boiled water and lower for 5-10 minutes in the boiling water. Switch off fire and leave in the same water for 2-3 hours before full cooling.
2. In a pan pour out sugar, fill in with water and put on average fire. Constantly stir slowly with a spoon to full sugar remelting. You boil water 2-3 minutes.
3. Knife oranges sharp on thin circles and take out seeds.
4. Place oranges in a basin or a pan and fill in with a hot sugar syrup. You boil oranges of 5-7 minutes, remove from fire and leave for 1 hour.
5. Merge syrup, boil it 10 minutes and again fill in with it oranges. You cook on slow fire of 15-20 minutes.
6. Pour hot jam on the sterilized banks and twirl.
