Diversify the recipe, having included ginger, vanilla or cinnamon about structure of jam. Despite refinement of taste, jam prepares very quickly and easily.

Lemon jam

Very simple option - home-made jam from lemons with a vanilla shade. It can be used for preparation of desserts or just is with tea. According to this recipe it is possible to make oranges jam, limes or other citrus.

It is required to you: - 8 lemons;

- 1.2 kg of sugar; - 1 liter of water;

- 2 teaspoons of vanilla sugar.

Instead of vanilla sugar for aromatization of jam it is possible to use a vanillin pinch.

Carefully wash up lemons hot water with a brush. Cut them thin circles, remove stones. Lay out fruits in a pan, fill in with water and you cook about half an hour on average fire. Then lower fire, lay out granulated sugar and vanilla sugar in a pan, mix and prepare 1.5 more hours. Take out a lemon peel a skimmer. Pour hot jam on previously sterilized banks, close covers and leave for cooling.

If you plan to eat delicacy in the next few days, just shift it in net capacity, cool and remove in the fridge.

Lemon jam with ginger

Very tasty option - jam from lemons with addition of a root of ginger. Give it to home-made pancakes or fritters - the taste of a lemon and ginger is perfectly combined with fresh hot pastries. It is required to you: - 400 g of lemons; - 400 g of sugar; - small piece (about 5 cm) of a ginger root. Carefully wash up lemons. Squeeze out juice of one fruit, blanch the others in boiled water of 5 minutes, and then miss via the meat grinder together with a ginger root. Lay out lemon puree in a stewpan, add juice and sugar, mix everything. You cook mix about half an hour on slow fire. If jam began to get denser, it is ready. Spread out a product on the sterilized banks, close covers and cool.

Jam from lemons with cinnamon

The aroma of lemons is well shaded by various spices - for example, cinnamon. Make jam with cinnamon powder - its quantity depends on your taste. It is required to you: - 7 lemons of the average size; - 1 liter of water; - 1 kg of sugar; - a ground cinnamon to taste. Scald purely washed up lemons boiled water - it will remove excessive bitterness. Cut fruits small pieces, deleting stones. Put lemons in a pan, fill in them with water and bring to the boil. Then lower fire, cover a pan and half an hour you cook mix. Pour sugar, mix and continue cooking an hour more. Then pour a ground cinnamon into jam, mix, prepare 5 more minutes. Remove a pan from a plate and cool a little. Spread out jam on clean banks and roll up covers.
