Sandwich with beef and arugula

The sandwich made according to this recipe turns out very tasty and nourishing. Prepares on a grill for rather short period. Beef, fresh arugula, Dijon mustard , etc. is its part. A dish it is capable to give forces and mood.

It is required to you

  • For three person:
  • - bread ciabatta — 1 piece;
  • - arugula — 70 g;
  • - fresh ground pepper — to taste;
  • - salt — to taste;
  • - Dijon mustard — 2 tablespoons;
  • - lemon juice — 1.5 tsps;
  • - olive oil of a cold extraction — 2 tablespoons;
  • - rosemary branches — 1 piece;
  • - beef steak — 280 g.


1. Get meat from the fridge and take at the room temperature within fifteen minutes.

2. Cut it on two parts lengthways, grease with a tablespoon of olive oil. Then fry on a grill, spending for each party no more than two minutes.

3. Warm an oven to 200oC, place beef pieces there and bake within 6 minutes. Cut ciabatta or a baguette lengthways on halves, grease one party with mustard.

4. Lay out the washed-up arugula on a half of a baguette or ciabatta. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, salt, rosemary, pepper. Grease beef steaks with the received solution. Lay out meat on arugula, water with the juice which remained from steak.

5. From above cover with the second part of bun. Cut sandwich with arugula and beef on three parts and give to a table.
