It is required to you

  • - 1 kg of plums
  • - 1.3 kg of sugar
  • - 0.2 glasses of drinking water
  • - glass jars with plastic or screw covers
  • - ware for jam making
  • - wooden scapula
  • - ladle

Instruction

1. Wash up plums by warm water and remove from them stones. Stones easily are removed from ripe sweet plum if to do by a knife a cut on the one side of plum, dividing fruit in half. Washed up and without stones of a half of plums put in a plate.

2. Weigh plums. Lay out them in ware for jam making. Then add sugar, from calculation - 1.3 kg of sugar on 1 kg of plums. Mix carefully wooden scapula so that sugar mixed up with plum. Add water.

3. Put ware with plums on slow fire and, carefully stirring slowly that sugar dispersed, you cook before boiling. As soon as jam begins to boil - make more feasible fire and you cook until ready (about 40 minutes). Remove ware with jam from a plate and put to cool down.

4. Pour the cooled-down jam on banks a ladle, close covers and put to the cool place.
