  • 1 – 1.5 years – 700 grams of milk a day
  • 1.5 - 2.5 years – 650 grams
  • 3-5 years – 600 grams with addition in a diet of other dairy products – kefir, fermented baked milk and curdled milk

For each child it is necessary to select milk with a certain percent of fat content. The mass fraction of fat in raw cow's milk fluctuates from 3.5 to 4.5%. Now in supermarkets sell also more low-calorie dairy product – from 0 to 3.2%. Everything depends on separation process which passed milk. Therefore the last is recommended to well-fed children, and the rest – with normal fat content. It should be noted that at the correct processing the content of nutrients does not change at all.

Never use raw milk as it may contain a set of microorganisms which cause various diseases of digestive tract and other bodies. It is preferable to buy sterilized milk which undergoes processing in high temperatures. It can usually be stored considerable time as long is not exposed to oxidizing process.

It is also possible to use and other products – the dry, condensed or baked milk. The last is characterized by a specific smell and taste which is characterized by a long period of storage.
