  • - 5 oranges
  • - 2 lemons
  • - 500 g of sugar

Instruction

1. Oranges and lemons need to be washed up carefully, then to fill in with boiled water and to take in it fruit of 5-10 minutes.

2. It is necessary to remove a dried peel by means of a small grater from two lemons and three oranges, and then to cut it thin straws.

3. Further it is necessary to squeeze out juice of a citrus. It is possible to make it manually or by means of the juice extractor as it is more convenient to you.

4. You shouldn't throw out a peel as in it there is a large amount of pectin which will help to thicken to jam.

5. Ready juice needs to be poured in deep ware which is suitable for the microwave oven, to add there 200 ml of water and a dried peel.

6. A white part from a peel needs to be inwrapped in a gauze and also to lower it in juice, then to cook before addition of sugar together with juice to remove from it the necessary pectin.

7. Jam should be covered with a film and to cook in the microwave oven of 20-25 minutes at full capacity until the peel becomes soft. Then it needs to be taken out, wrung out and thrown out.
