What Coca-Cola differs from Pepsi Cola in

Paradoxically: the most part of the population of the earth quite definitely knows that it prefers - Coca or Pepsi. It is more than that, for certain, each of them will be able to describe a difference in taste of two drinks. However whether there is really this difference – very controversial issue.

Coca-Cola was developed more than hundred years ago and was pharmaceutical means. At first it was positioned as indigestion medicine, but soon became "energy drink", thanks to high content of caffeine and cocaine. And exactly thanks to the last the brand received the name. The second drink appeared a bit later and from the very beginning didn't hide the position, acting as "an alternative of Coca-Cola". Lemonade was framed only for commercial reasons therefore the taste "was intentionally adjusted" to Kola which became already rather known, and the name got out of the medical terms which are actively used those years. The baking plate of "Pepsi" was meant "pepsin" which all had very famous – a lot of talk went that it helps digestion. Important the fact that structure Pepsi never included the "invigorating" ingredients. For this reason when, in view of the obvious reasons, cocaine was excluded from the structure of Coca-Cola, the difference between drinks became very conditional. And soon it was absolutely symbolical at all: "Cook" forbade to use also caffeine. Thus, if at first "Pepsi" tried to copy Kola, without using at the same time its key components, then in several years the situation was replaced by the return, having completely mixed whose recipe is more original. The truth is that the structure of both drinks almost completely is under construction on sugar and water. Besides, dyes, acids and mass of others, not too clear to the ordinary inhabitant, elements in which all difference consists are added to them. The chemical composition, certainly, differs, but it will be possible to distinguish drinks hardly because of an identical basis. Imagine two kilogram bags of sugar, one of which was mixed with a salt spoon. Whether you will be able to distinguish bags from each other after the drunk glass of tea?
