In Caribbean countries of a dish from green bananas are as habitual, as at us — potatoes or squash dish. However, there cook generally a few other, large bananas with badly separating peel.

It is difficult to find large green bananas in supermarkets therefore it is possible to use also usual green bananas though the taste of dishes will be slightly another. 

1. The simplest dish is fried bananas. In the Latin American countries, bananas fry as potato. And the taste is a little similar to sweetish potatoes. Slice bananas and fry from two parties in oil within several minutes. Also the excellent garnish for fish, meat or vegetable stew is ready. Also bananas can be fried breaded. 

2. Patakones. This plain dish is incredibly popular in Ecuador, the most "banana" country. It is preparing so: slices of bananas are slightly fried, then are softened by a wooden masher to a condition of flat cake and again are a little fried on olive oil. Then fall down coarse sea salt. Latin Americans eat this dish and for breakfast with fried eggs and as a garnish for fish and seafood, and as an independent dish. It is curious that in Cuba it is accepted to wash down патаконес with sweet coffee. 

3. Fried bananas with pepper. And this dish came from Asia. It is preparing too very simply: bananas are cut lengthways on 4 parts — thin strips turn out. Everyone falls down salt and mix of black and burning paprika. Then falls off in flour and it is fried from all directions in oil. Moves with rice. 

4. Stewed bananas with onions and spices in coconut milk. Bananas are slightly fried to softness, onions are fried separately to a golden crust. Connect, fill in these two ingredients with coconut milk from banks and extinguish within 20-25 minutes. In 10 minutes prior to readiness to add some spice: cumin, a turmeric, black pepper, there is a little paprika.
