- Winter honey agaric
This edible fungi can be found also in March, of course, if to try. But most often this month the honey agaric looks not in the best way as its season of fructification comes to an end. But if you will be lucky, then and on frying it is possible to gather quite decent mushrooms. The honey agaric possesses in orange-yellow color, under a hat rare light-yellow plates. Honey agarics can be cooked, fried, salted, pickled and even to dry. Besides, the honey agaric is known for the anti-virus and anticarcinogenic properties.
- Chaga
We do not forget that this mushroom is inedible. But it does not mean that it is not useful to you, it is considered a medical mushroom which possesses antiviral action. What with it to do? It is necessary just to make it and to accept infusion.
It is difficult to mix a birch chaga with something, it represents the black large outgrowths growing in ruptures of bark of old birches. They can reach the considerable sizes and weight in several kilograms. The Chaga has the expressed antiseptic and antimicrobial properties.
- Birch sponge
The birch sponge is considered a curative mushroom for us, but for birches it is considered the destroyer. The birch sponge destroys first of all wood of the died-off parts of a tree from where rotting extends and in living tissues, gradually leading of a tree to death. Fruit bodies of a mushroom are peculiar, one-year, roundish or pochkovidny, from above slightly convex, with the rounded edge and a small side leg. From above hats smooth, light brown or grayish with a thin skin in the form of freely separating film. Earlier fruit bodies of a birch sponge were used for receiving the first-class drawing coal.
