1. In the microwave oven it is possible to regulate time and the mode of cooking - it considerably expands possibilities of its use. For example, it is possible not only to cook, fry, bake in it, but also to defreeze products and also to warm ready-to-eat meals.
2. To check whether ware is suitable for preparation of dishes in the microwave oven, it is necessary to warm empty ware in the mode of the highest power within about 30 seconds. If ware heated up very little or remained cold, it can safely be used. if ware heated up strongly, for the microwave it is unsuitable. Metal ware reflects microwaves and doesn't allow them to get into food therefore it can't be used! It is also necessary to remember that metal is often applied to production of labels and patterns which can is on ware. Getting on them, microwaves cause sparking.
3. It is possible to use: - ware from heat resisting glass - it maintains microwaves and well "passes" them to the preparing products; - ware for frying in the microwave oven - for frying of products (when using it is necessary to adhere to instructions of the producer); - plastic ware - for warming up of products. It is necessary to remember that only dense and rather thick plastic is suitable for use in the microwave (do special containers with a mark of it "for the microwave oven"). Tanks from thin plastic (for example, jars from under yogurts) can't be used, they can be deformed; - ceramics and porcelain - only if on it there is no metal decor; - wooden supports, baskets, paper and cardboard - for fast warming up of ready-made products; - plastic foil - for a covering and lining ware from within. That the film didn't stick to products, wasn't blown up and didn't blow up, it is necessary to make on it 1-2 small slits a knife.
