The thing is that the adult human body is capable to fight against cyanide if its dose is small. And here cyanide is very dangerous to children even in minute quantities. The children's organism can simply not cope with such loadings. Most concerns also animals.

Speaking about poisonous fruit, it is worth mentioning surely and about poisonous vegetables which often enter a food allowance of the person. Green tomato in some countries is considered vegetable, in others – fruit, in the third – berry. Anyway, in whatever country the tomato grew, its leaves and stalks contain glycoalkaloid. This agent is very toxic. Poisoning with it can be followed by such symptoms as indigestion, a severe headache, nervousness. Glycoalkaloid content in tomatoes isn't enough so they don't constitute essential danger. The plant which fruits are considered as poisonous is an asparagus. As a rule, for cooking not fruits of an asparagus, but its stalks are used. The fruit is the top sprout of a plant. It is quite often used by culinary specialists at preparation of refined dishes. Also on a plant red berries are poisonous. They are absolutely small, however at hit are inside very dangerous to the person.
