The birch mushroom was known for medicinal properties still in the very ancient time. Our ancestors called it a gift of gods and treated with its help many illnesses. It was mentioned in the treatises by great Avicenna.

Chemical composition

The structure of a mushroom abounds with useful acids: ant, acetic, vanillin, triterpenovy, oxalic, agaritsinovy and guminopodobny. Collecting, preparation and storage of a birch chaga

The Chaga is formed on an alder, a beech, an elm and a mountain ash, but for treatment use only a birch mushroom. Preparation takes place in the spring or in the fall, is exclusive from live trees.

Oil

At cough apply a compress, and at joint pains pound a sore point.

Broth

Broth of a chaga is capable to reduce pressure. For this purpose 5 g of the crushed raw materials with the same quantity of a mistletoe (grass) fill in with a glass of water and on fire bring to boiling. Broth has to stand a couple of hours, drink a third of a glass three times a day, a course of treatment – about one month.

In traditional medicine for elimination of problems with pressure broths of curative plants are also used: corn, calendula or dogrose.

Infusion

Infusion of a birch mushroom: the outgrowth is filled in with cold boiled water so that to cover completely, insist till five o'clock. The wetted-through raw materials are got, wrung out and crushed. Water in which it infused is heated to 50 degrees and fill in the crushed mushroom in a proportion: 1 part of a product on 5 parts of water. Insist in cold of 48 hours.

Inside infusion is accepted at problems with a GIT. Also infusion helps at gynecologic diseases (inflammation or a cyst of ovaries, other inflammatory processes, menstrual violations and pains).

Tincture

Tincture of a chaga is taken at stomach ulcer, at gastritis and an ulcer of a duodenum in 30 minutes prior to food, three times a day, one tablespoon. Fill in with vodka in number of 300 ml 50 g of the dry, processed raw materials. It is necessary to insist in capacity from dark glass three weeks. At varicosity the dose is reduced to a teaspoon.

Extract

Chaga extract – the pharmaceutical name Befungin is useful to a metabolism, helps to heal GIT ulcers, increases appetite, normalizes a dream and strengthens nerves. Before the use the container with extract is heated to 70 degrees, standard daily rate by no more than 3.5 g, accept to food. The course usually lasts about three months.

Contraindications and side effects

The Chaga has no many contraindications: it is impossible to accept at colitis, pregnancy and to small children. Before drug intake from a birch mushroom the consultation of the doctor is necessary, it is impossible to combine treatment by a mushroom with antibiotics, with intravenous administration of glucose.

Important! It is not desirable to smoke and take during treatment by this product alcoholic drinks including low alcohol.

The Chaga can bring both benefit, and harm: at overdose of a product the excitability of nervous system is observed. Medical process of chagy should be combined with a dairy and vegetable diet, to avoid some spicy, salty and smoked food.
