1. The reaped potatoes crop (or bought in the market) needs to be dried carefully in dry, dark garage or in the shed within two-three weeks, the room has to be well aired. Touch vegetables, remove tubers even with the slightest signs of the desease phytophthora (dark stains).

To save potatoes from decay, pour tubers rowan leaves (at the rate of half a kilo of leaves on twenty five kilograms of vegetables). 4. If in the apartment there is balcony or loggia, it is possible to store vegetables in self-made cellar. Can build it everyone, even without having special skills of joiner's and carpenter's work. The sizes completely depend on the planned volume of storage of harvest and the sizes of balcony. Make framework of bar and sheathe it plywood (thickness of 4-6 millimeters).
