1. Spring disinfecting of hotbed should be begun in March or at the end of February, in case of long thaw. The first that needs to be made – to remove all plant debris. It is the wintered tops of vegetable of plants, weeds and roots. At them there are pathogenic microorganisms of which it is necessary to get rid completely.
2. The next stage – removal of podvyazochny material, twine, strings of pegs and everything that could remain in the greenhouse after season. All superfluous is removed from hotbed and is burned. The tops of vegetable needs to be burned or taken out out of borders of the site too. It is not recommended to punch the vegetable waste which has remained in the greenhouse.
3. If hotbed film, covering it is desirable to remove that without hindrances to process hotbed designs. In the greenhouse from polycarbonate or glass only removable parts are removed (windows, doors), and stationary remain. The material (film) removed ukryvny is spread in the free square and from all directions is carefully washed out brush and soapsuds. Then it is rinsed with clear water and goes to drying. The polycarbonate covering and glasses should be processed soap solution too and to wash away it water.
4. The next important sanitary event – disinfection of the soil. If hotbed small, it is possible to make it abrupt boiled water, having spilled each square meter several buckets. It is good to add potassium permanganate to boiled water. It is the best of all to process hotbeds of the big sizes chemicals – copper and iron vitriol, on sour soils – chloric lime. But in the spring before landing of plants it is not recommended to be done. Therefore if you have not cultivated the land in the greenhouse in the fall and if in last season in hotbed the outbreaks of any fungal diseases were observed, it is safer to replace top soil. On all area of hotbed it is necessary to remove 7-8 cm of soil, to fill up with raw compost or the rerotting manure and to dig over on depth of 10-15 cm.
5. In the greenhouse from glass or polycarbonate it is possible for provestiya disinfection by fumigating. Sulfuric checkers which display on metal sheets will be necessary, having added to them kerosene. All window leaves and doors are closed in the greenhouse and leave for several days. Sulfuric gas is dangerous not only to bacteria, but also to the person therefore it is necessary to enter the greenhouse after fumigating only properly it having aired.
