SMALLPOX, or it is oriented - the chip plate represents the engineering wood product which is widely used for covering of walls, floor and roofs. The plate has no internal cavities, and therefore it is stronger, than plywood. Its finishing can be made with use practically of any material. It can paint, putty, varnish, glue and to be plastered.
Today many house owners when finishing the dwelling use SMALLPOX. These plates it is simple to fix and if necessary to dismantle, through them easily there pass screws and besides they are eco-friendly material. Plate primer
Painting of plate of SMALLPOX begins with primer of its surface. For this purpose it is possible to use the PVA glue diluted with water or primer of deep penetration.
Water for glue dilution surely has to be filtered.
It is possible to Progruntovat plate by means of water varnish which can be acrylic or acrylic and polyurethane. For this purpose varnish is dissolved with water, observing at the same time proportion 1:10, on ten parts of varnish one part of water. Instead of primer of deep penetration it is also possible to use varnish on alkyd basis which needs to be diluted before drawing by white spirit.
It should be noted that alkyd varnish gives to plate yellowness.
After this priming coat dries, and there is it not earlier than in 8 hours, the plate can be painted.
Painting of plate
For coloring of plate of osb it is possible to use aqueous emulsion or oil paints. It is possible to put it with brush, the roller or spray.
You should not use water-based paint as it is capable to lead to swelling of plate.
As it is known, paint has property to spread on sharp angles. Therefore even prior to works round off plate corners easy grinding. Especially it concerns RSD, applied to exterior finish. At first the perimeter of plate and only then all other surface is painted over. Special attention at the same time needs to be paid to painting of edge which surface more porous, than the plate plane. Therefore it is necessary to pay special attention to sealing of edges which will be seen even to putting primer.
If finishing by means of plates means that edges will be visible upon termination of works, they are recommended to be filled with cellulose filler and to grind.
There is opinion that the thick coat of paint is better thin. But it is wrong. It is better to put several thin coverings, than one, but thick. At the same time each subsequent layer has to be put only after full drying previous.
