2. Loamy and sandy soils best of all will be suitable for landing sevka. Such choice is caused by high moisture permeability and moisture capacity. Onions do not take out sour and heavy soils. Can be predecessors of onions: white cabbage, squash and cucumber. If the soil was exhausted on the fertile properties, it is necessary to introduce in the fall organic fertilizers when redigging the earth.
3. Before landing sevka to the open ground, lukovichka need to be warmed up properly within eight hours. Optimum temperature for warming up – 40oc. After holding this procedure wet lukovichka in weak solution of copper vitriol for twenty minutes. Then without washout and drying it is possible to land pilferers on beds. The distance between bulbs has to make ten centimeters, between ranks – twenty centimeters. Landing sevka is made on depth of three centimeters.
4. At emergence of greens and forming of bulbs this culture demands abundant watering. A month before harvesting the waterings stop. Consider that when breaking greens growth of onions slows down therefore heads will turn out small. 5. During the vegetative period of pilferers demands loosening, it has to be made not less than six times during cultivation of onions. At the same time try not to mention depth more than five centimeters. Constantly delete weeds around landings. If in three weeks after landing in soil onions grow very sluggishly, leaves have pale color with reddenings, so culture lacks nitrogen. If in the soil potassium does not suffice, leaves will gain grayish color, the surface of feather becomes uneven. Tops of feathers become black at lack of phosphorus.
