1. Irrespective of look, all begonias do not take out direct sunlight and the increased temperature. In the summer temperature condition has to be in limits 18-20os, in the winter 16-17os. At the same time the soil in flowerpots has to be moderately humidified – overwetting will be led to death of tuber and root system from fungal infections, as well as by too low temperature in the winter (below +15os)
2. Spraying can also harm leaves of begonias, it is necessary to carry out it extremely accurately. It is better to leave the container with water near plants or to provide them drop watering. Only at observance of these conditions of begonia will comfortably feel, and new buds on plants to be formed during the long period of time.
3. The begonia prefers the easy soil made of the cespitose, sheet earth and peat in equal quantities with addition of small amount of coarse bank sand or haydite for drainage. Reaction of soil has to be subacidic or neutral. It is the best of all to buy ready nutritious mix in shop, but it is quite possible to make it and independently.
4. Before application soil needs to be disinfected: to fry thoroughly or subject to deep freezing. It will allow to avoid transfer on tubers of various pathogenic microorganisms and wreckers. Correctly made soil mix has to have the good draining properties, otherwise soil will be condensed, receipt to roots of nutrients will decrease, the plant will feel discomfort. As a result – blossomings can not be.
5. When landing to bottom of pot it is necessary to fill layer of haydite or coarse sand layer of 1.5-2 cm, to fill from above on ½ tanks with nutritious mix, to lay out tuber and to fill up with the soil, at the same time condensing emptiness.
6. It is desirable that growth point on tuber has to be powdered with the earth on 0.8-1 cm. When watering the soil will be condensed, will sink, sprouts will appear at the level of the surface of soil, otherwise the tuber can die. 8. Fertilizing it is necessary to carry out once a month at spring till fall, in the winter of begonia it is not necessary to fertilize. At this time plants are at rest, fertilizing can do much harm to them at this time.
