Instruction
1. Make basis for bed of the necessary size. From wooden rails collect rectangle not less than 1.8-2 meters long, 1-1.5 meters wide. On the center stretch at least three cross rails to strengthen design. For double bed also the longitudinal rail is necessary. Fasten parts with corners by means of bolts, having drilled them through.
2. To keep corner in 90 ⁰ between the next parties, in addition cut four ties 20-30 cm long, and cut the edges at an angle 45 ⁰. Fix them at each corner so that the construction was rugged and was not unsteady.
3. Make 4 identical legs of wooden bar and twirl them in each corner on several screws, or use metal corners. You watch that legs were identical height, otherwise the bed will be unsteady. If the design seems to you insufficiently reliable – add two more legs in the center.
4. Connect all legs additional rails, approximately on the center. Thanks to such connection the bed will be steadier.
5. If you want to make bed with back, cut out from chipboard rectangular parts, from floor up to the necessary height of back. Fix them in bed faces. Process edges edging tape, its heating by means of the iron.
6. Having measured length and width of the basis, draw rectangle on veneer sheet and cut it the fret saw. As veneer sheets usually have width of 1.5 meters, to you, most likely, it is necessary to connect end-to-end two parts. Fix them by means of nails or self-tapping screws on the basis of. That the mattress did not slip and the bed looked accurater, beat at the edges narrow sides, mattress thickness are not higher.
7. Grind all wooden parts, cover with primer, varnish or mordant of right color. It is possible to paint also wooden bed favourite color. After the self-made bed dries, put on it mattress.
