1. The sort of barberries unites very large number of both evergreen, and deciduous bushes which exterior can differ considerably. Prickles at the same time are simple, ternate and even quintuple, they sit always at the basis of leaves and the shortened escapes. These bushes in our latitudes since the beginning of May and until the end of July, depending on grade blossom. Flowers small and yellow, are collected in brush, quite often fragrant. 2. All deciduous barberries from Central Asia with dark berries are called Asian barberries. Most often under this name it is possible to meet large oblong and raznonozhkovy barberry on sale. These types steadily blossom and are not frosted over in the winter. At oblong barberry escapes of grayish color, prickle on them small, single, 1.5 cm long. Leaves also have glaucous shade, berries dark red, almost black, with gray raid. The barberry krugloplodny or raznonozhkovy differs in branches of brown color, single prickles up to 3 cm long and is clean - green leaves. 4. One more Central Asian look is called Wilson's barberry. He prefers grow in the nature on hillsides or plains, in height reaches 1 m. Grows with set of branches if not to thin out it, turns into wild thickets. Leaves lantsetny and small, gray-green color, are supplied with ternate prickles.
