Germany calls it ""the Caucasian forget-me-not"" because Brunner it is widespread in the Caucasus. Gardeners admire all summer at first gentle flowers, and then decorative leaves of this plant.
Brunner large-leaved, either Brunei, or Brunner in a different way is long-term flower, variyegat, that is plant with pattern on leaves.
This plant was found for the first time by the botanist and the traveler from Switzerland Samueel Brunner in the Crimea therefore it also has received such name. The plant attracts with the fact that nearly a month blossoms, and beautiful leaves till the fall can serve as magnificent background for other blossoming neighbors.
There are several grades Brunner:
- Blue flowers and dark green leaves with silvery specks at the edges are characteristic of it. The main difference – rapid growth and unpretentiousness.
- The grade Milleniumzilber – at it is silver-white spots according to all leaf.
- At grade "Jack Frost" leaves almost all silvery, only green streaks and the sheet edge.
- On leaves Brunner of grades "Headspen Krim", Variyegata and "Dousonz Whyte" of strip and spots of cream-white shade of various forms.
How to put to Brunner seeds
Choose the shady place with the friable nutritious soil and plant plant seeds at distance of 10 cm in the fall. Well water and note arrangement of grooves. It is necessary not to forget where you have put them – the plant can appear only for the second year. Though some seeds will precisely ascend in the first year.

The third way - division
Or reproduction. It is most acceptable because seeds not always ensure safety of decorative properties of plant: leaves can lose beautiful diversity and silveriness, and division of bush provides maintaining all properties. Though seeds it is possible to grow up several grades Brunner. Cultivation in that and to others case will be various.
So, after blossoming we dig out to Brunner, we clean roots and we stretch rhizome, trying to separate part. We watch that on the separated roots there was renewal kidney. It is possible to work with knife, at the same time cutting off everything the sick and damaged roots. To process places of cuts ashes or activated carbon.
Each root is put in holes with humus, carefully mixing roots with the earth and distributing them on circle.
