Bugenvilliya is one of those ornamental, exotic plants by means of which it is possible "to recover" considerably room interior and also, with certain experience, to create excellent compositions in landscaping and to plant trees and shrubs in building facade.
To grow up bugenvilliya (the most widespread types: bugenvilliya remarkable and bugenvilliya naked) as the houseplant is possible in the conditions of various climatic zones – at average temperature in from 20 to 30 degrees of heat. Use of plant as element of registration of facades of buildings and landscaping, is possible only in the southern regions of the country as the bugenvilliya cannot transfer cold and hard winters.
Structure of the soil and correct landing
Bugenvilliya grows on soils of any type, however ideal soil for this plant has to consist of the sheet or cespitose earth (70%), quartz sand (10%) and peat (20%). In order that the bugenvilliya quickly developed and pleased with the blossoming from April to September, it is necessary to land it only in well lit places.
The plant quickly enough grows and well takes root therefore particular problems with its landing and change, as a rule, do not arise. In order that the plant felt comfortable, it is necessary to plant it in April-May, and in rather deep and spacious capacity. The comfortable wintering for bugenvilliya can be provided, having placed it indoors with average temperature of 10-12 degrees of heat. In process of development of plant, it should be replaced in the capacity of the bigger size, but not more often than once a year. At change it is necessary to watch to damaging the root system of bugenvilliya. Looking after plant, it is necessary not to forget also about its correct cutting. In order that the krone of bugenvilliya was formed evenly, it is necessary to cut off only young escapes, shortening them half. It is desirable to make this procedure after every period of intensive blossoming of plant.
Watering and fertilizing
Bugenvilliya demands especially intensive watering during blossoming, it is necessary to water plant only periodically in the winter, watching that the soil in pot was only slightly damp. Bugenvilliya also should be irrigated from spray, especially it is relevant during the winter period when at the switched-on batteries air in the apartment becomes less damp. Bugenvilliya needs frequent fertilizing only during the spring period – before blossoming. Generally for fertilizing of plant solution which basis is formed by organic and mineral fertilizers is used. For preparation of such solution "Agricola for the blossoming plants" is enough to part in 3 l of water 1 tsps of means. It is possible to part in such proportion and other means intended for fertilizing of ornamental plants.
