There are three types of heat guns - electric, gas and diesel. Responses and opinions on them can be various.
Electric heat guns
The electric heat gun is easy to use and most often has small power, quite often such guns use not for industrial premises, and for apartments, offices, small garages as they take not enough place and do not demand special permissions for connection. Such small guns are called sometimes fan heaters. More powerful electric devices demand three-phase current network. Additional wiring of such network demands special permits and additional expenses therefore it is usually convenient to take two low-power electric guns instead of one powerful. Heat guns are supplied with the power adjuster, that is you can always control heat flow from your heater.
Gas heat guns
Gas continues to remain the cheapest fuel, of course, if it is brought to the building where you carry out works therefore, using gas heat guns, it is possible to save significantly especially as gas are cheaper than electric. Guns which work from the gas pipeline, of course, much more economically, but before their purchase you have to be sure that you will collect all necessary documents for their connection from gas services. Gas guns burn especially large amount of oxygen, their use in the enclosed space is dangerous.
Diesel heat guns
The most powerful are diesel heat guns. Their shortcoming is rather high price of fuel and need to create conditions for removal of gases which are formed in the course of its combustion. Diesel guns it is safer electric and especially gas, in them there is always automatic equipment which will not allow them to overheat.
