The corrugated pipe is used in different areas that is explained by its good properties. That it brought the maximum benefit, special attention should be paid to such moments as the choice and scope of corrugated pipes.
Choice
The corrugated pipe is flexible part which durability and mobility are caused by the structure pressed in folds. The choice of this element is influenced by several significant factors, namely - conditions of laying and pipe diameter.
There are two types of laying of corrugated pipe — the latent and open form. Laying in floor, walls and ceilings is called hidden. The latent form is carried out in false-spaces of designs in construction. Such type of laying is also subdivided into three views, in each of which certain corrugated pipes are used. The first type — laying in materials of nonflammable character, that is in floor tie, in shtobra of brick walls and so on. In this case it is possible to use any pipes though recently requirements become more rigid therefore sometimes it is necessary to use pipes which do not extend burning. The second type — laying in emptiness of building constructions of nonflammable character, that is in raised floors, false-walls and so on. At the same time it is necessary to use plastic pipes which do not extend burning. The third type — laying in overlappings which can burn down, that is in wooden walls, under combustible facing and so on. Here only nonflammable pipes, most often metal electrowelded pipes are used.
One more type of laying of corrugated pipe — open form which is carried out on surface of ceilings, floors and walls. It is also subdivided into types which only five. First, there is laying on non-combustible materials indoors when it is necessary to use the plastic pipes which are not extending burning. Secondly, there is laying on combustible materials indoors when the pipes which are not extending burning are used. Thirdly, there is laying outside of buildings, at the same time the pipe does not extend burning. It is the best of all to choose rigid plain tubes. Fourthly, there is laying of open type in fire-dangerous rooms when it is necessary to use the plastic pipes which are not extending burning together with cable which does not spread fire too. Fifthly, there is laying in explosive rooms when it is possible to choose metal or other special pipes, but not plastic option. Besides, the choice of corrugated pipe is influenced by diameter. For example, the pipe which diameter is 16 millimeters is brought to lighting equipment, and here it is necessary to bring pipes with a diameter of 20 millimeters to sockets and switches and more. The pipe with diameter of 16 millimeters can be chosen also for laying of signaling and telephone networks. To connect floors among themselves, it is necessary to use pipe with a diameter of 50 and 40 millimeters. To connect electric boards, it is better to choose pipe with a diameter of 32 millimeters and more, but in this case it is worth buying also reserve pipe.
Application
Corrugated pipes are used in different spheres, for example, when laying telephone networks and at laying of water supply. Such pipes can be applied in industrial and household spheres as they have good characteristics and high resilience of deformation on break and bend. There are two main types of corrugated pipes. Polymeric pipes are applied as additional protection against the fire and as isolation from moisture. The same type of pipes is used for storm and sewerage systems. Stainless steel pipes can be replacement rectilinear in water and heating supplies. These pipes are applied as ventilating adaptation in chimney and oven designs and also in air duct.
