The third year we land Rozara potatoes on kitchen garden. Though I do not like pink grades of potatoes, but over time I have understood all its advantages and have appreciated this grade.
We land potatoes for May holidays. As gender of us problem, it is necessary to resort to some precautions. On our field potatoes grow more than 10 years therefore it everything is infected with phytophthora.
And each meter of the earth is simply stuffed with larvae of Colorado beetle and the wireworm. When we dug out potatoes in year before last, some potatoes resembled the moving hedgehogs, so has stuck into them wireworms much.
Therefore before landing we pickle potatoes tubers the medicine ""Prestige"". It is medicine very much of broad spectrum of activity. It protects plant from fungal diseases, Colorado beetle and the opposite wireworm within forty days from the moment of landing, and then it breaks up to safe components. Besides we pour to each hole on teaspoon of table salt. Salt has to destroy larvae of different bugs. This method quite disputable, but we continue by it to use because larvae of shchelkun became much less.
You should not thicken landings of potatoes that it was more convenient to be processed, and bushes did not shade each other. During the season we once hill potatoes and we weed as required.
Rozara very well resists phytophthora therefore bushes stand almost till the fall. What cannot be told about Adretta which is strongly damaged by fungus in July.
Form of potatoes at Rozara oval. The weight of tuber is about 100 grams. Potatoes during cooking do not boil soft. Therefore it can be used in salads. And for preparation of puree it is necessary to work a little. And one more merit of Rozara is duration of its storage. Potatoes can be stored till summer, almost without losing presentation.
Therefore we will also put further this grade checked by time which yields fine harvest, is long stored and is not afraid of fungal diseases.
