Garden violets are very demanded in landscaping:

- as pochvopokrovny plant: fragrant, papilionaceous violet;

- for landing near reservoirs: marsh and papilionaceous violet;

- for creation of bright, contrast groups on lawn: fragrant violet, papilionaceous, white, Altai;

Viola Vittroka

Horned violet

Papilionaceous violet

Description: plant with short escapes, height of 15-20 cm. Flowers are violet, white and pink, blossoms in May-June.

Conditions for growth: damp place; the trained, friable soil.

- Elza Cumbs, white; - Dark Treckles, spotty; - Ruba, blue-violet; - Freechles white with blue specks.

Altai violet

Description: long stalks, in height plant of-20 cm. Blossoms in May and repeatedly in August. Flowers blue-violet with yellow peephole or white with blue strips.

Features: obilnotsvetushchy, cold-resistant.

Conditions for growth: solar place; the nutritious, trained soil.

Violet fragrant (candy)

Description: pochvopokryvny the look reaching in height of 15-20 cm, diameter of bush of 30 cm; blossoms in May blue-violet flowers. The most part of season - dekorativnolistvenny.

Rare species of garden violets

Manchzhursky violet. Height of 6-20 cm, blossoms in May-June dark-violet flowers. Poecilophyllous grades are especially beautiful.

Graceful violet. Height of 10-20 cm, blossoms in May and repeatedly in August-September blue-lilac and yellow flowers. Prefers half-shade and nutritious soil.

Seeds of all garden violets can be sowed to the open ground - they well ascend and quickly grow. But crops on seedling allow to accelerate blossoming process.

On seedling sow from the middle of February to the middle of March. The soil - universal soil for flower seedling, it is in addition possible to add coarse-grained sand.

Fill landing capacity with the earth and spread out seeds on surface. Humidify by means of the spray and slightly powder with the soil or sand. Cover with film and put to the warm dark place.
