At cultivation of adenium from seeds it is possible to receive plant with well developed kaudeksy. It is not difficult to couch seeds of adenium. Seeds sprout for the third day and grow very quickly. If to meet certain conditions, then it is possible to sow seeds at all seasons of the year.
What conditions are necessary for prorashchivaniye of adenium
For crops of seeds the sterile and well drained soil is necessary. It is possible to take as basis ready soil for cacti and to add there baking powder – vermiculite or perlite. In composition of the ground baking powder has to make from 20% to 50%. In that case the soil will be easy, but feeder therefore seedlings will not need fertilizing at the beginning.
Adeniuma treat thermophilic plants. Seeds will well sprout if to provide continuous temperature from +25 to +35os. If temperature condition is not observed, seeds can not sprout.
Also seeds need to provide constant moderate air humidity. For creation of the necessary microclimate the capacity with the seeded seeds is required to be covered with transparent film. The most suitable time for crops – the spring and summer period. But if there is opportunity to provide the corresponding temperature and light conditions, then crops can be made at all seasons of the year.
Before crops
For prevention of fungal diseases before crops the seeds are surely processed 30 minutes in weak solution of potassium permanganate. For increase in energy of germination the seeds ret for 1.5 hours in warm water with addition of stimulator (Epin or Zircon). Water temperature has to be not less +35os. To provide the continuous temperature of water, it is possible to put capacity with seeds on the heated towel rail.
Crops of seeds
In container for crops the drainage surely is made of haydite. Then capacity is filled with substrate and pours down warm water. The soil should not be wet. In substrate grooves become and seeds give all the best. Seeds are sowed horizontally. Distance between seeds of 2-3 cm, then it is necessary to powder them with soil 0.5 cm thick. If seeds of different grades are sowed, it is better to use the landing cartridge. Use of such capacity will allow not to mix grades. It is important that in the cartridge there were drainage holes. After crops the capacity is covered with transparent film for creation of hothouse conditions. For crops it is necessary to organize the lower heating with continuous temperature from +25os to +35os. If temperature is lower, seeds can decay if above – not couch. Light for germination of seeds is not necessary.
Care for seedlings of adenium
The first 4-5 days small greenery should not be watered. After this term, substrate needs to be moistened accurately. Crops are regularly aired – 30 minutes 2 times a day. The main part of seeds sprouts for 3-4 day, but this period can reach also up to 2 weeks. After emergence of shoots the lower heating cleans up. Seedlings are exposed on the lit place and regularly aired. Finally the film cleans up in 2 weeks after emergence of shoots. After emergence of the third couple of real leaves, seedlings need to be seated in separate pots. Tanks undertake small, corresponding to root system.
